Se realiza la segunda vuelta para elegir a los gobernadores regionales en 11 regiones de Chile, tras los comicios del 26 y 27 de octubre, donde solo cinco regiones lograron definir al ganador en primera instancia.<\/p>\n
En aquella votaci\u00f3n, los candidatos al cargo de gobernador deb\u00edan superar el 40% de los votos para asegurar su elecci\u00f3n. Sin embargo, en regiones como Tarapac\u00e1, \u00d1uble, Los R\u00edos, Ays\u00e9n y Magallanes, los resultados permitieron proclamar vencedores, mientras que en las restantes se realizar\u00e1 un balotaje entre las dos candidaturas m\u00e1s votadas.<\/p>\n
En esta segunda vuelta, las regiones que ir\u00e1n nuevamente a las urnas son: Arica y Parinacota, Antofagasta, Atacama, Coquimbo, Valpara\u00edso, Metropolitana, O\u2019Higgins, Maule, Biob\u00edo, La Araucan\u00eda y Los Lagos.<\/p>\n
Entre los candidatos que se enfrentar\u00e1n se encuentran figuras de distintos sectores pol\u00edticos y alianzas independientes, quienes buscar\u00e1n convencer a los votantes en una contienda que definir\u00e1 a los l\u00edderes regionales para los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os. Las Gobernaciones Regionales, cargo que reemplaz\u00f3 a los antiguos intendentes, poseen atribuciones clave en materias de desarrollo regional, planificaci\u00f3n territorial y gesti\u00f3n de recursos.<\/p>\n
